Amiri has opened its first flagship store in Latin America, in Mexico City. The two-story boutique spans 2,863 square feet on Avenida Presidente Masaryk in the Polanco district, a high-end shopping area known as the city’s most expensive retail street.
Designed by founder and creative director Mike Amiri, the store follows the brand’s global boutique aesthetic while incorporating locally sourced materials and furnishings. Its facade and interior accents use Santo Tomás marble quarried in Mexico, paired with cream travertine floors, textured neutral wallpaper and sheer drapes inspired by Old Hollywood and midcentury movie theaters.
The space also features timber seating, leather lounge chairs, artisan-made tables and textured carpeting, alongside works by artists Stefano Di Cristofaro, Emiliano Massimini and Alex Slonimsky. The store carries ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories for both men and women.
Amiri now operates more than 30 stores worldwide. The privately owned fashion house, in which Italian group OTB holds a minority stake, reported a 10 percent sales increase in the first half of 2026, reaching about $300 million in volume.
