Bethesda has announced that its next mainline Elder Scrolls game is titled The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel. The reveal came during a video marking the studio’s 40th anniversary, more than eight years after the project was first presented under its numeral alone.

Studio chief Todd Howard introduced the title at the end of the video, describing the anniversary as the “perfect time” to give the game a name. Bethesda’s accompanying Xbox Wire post shared the Sentinel logo, but offered no further information about the game.

Earlier reporting by The Verge’s Tom Warren points to Hammerfell as the game’s setting, with Sentinel being a major city in the province. Warren has also reported that the story will explore the history of the Elder Scrolls themselves. Bethesda has not confirmed those details, nor has it announced gameplay information or a release window.
