Adele Zaikman will not appear during Dancing with the Stars’ Disney Night episode on Monday, November 2, after announcing that she was feeling unwell. The pro dancer shared the news on her Instagram Stories the night before the show.
“I’m sadly feeling unwell and won’t be performing in the opening number on Dancing with the Stars tomorrow,” Zaikman wrote. She added that she was disappointed to miss the show but would use the time to take care of herself, while sending her support to everyone performing in the ballroom.
Zaikman, who won Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro, was scheduled to take part in the episode’s opening group number. She and her celebrity partner, Conner Leavitt, were eliminated during the first week of the competition.
Her absence comes as the season’s professional lineup has experienced several changes, including Witney Carson’s pregnancy, Sharna Burgess’ return and Val Chmerkovskiy’s temporary suspension.
This year’s Disney Night also brings back team dances for the first time since 2024. The remaining couples will be split into two groups, with the teams led by captains Connor Wood and Tatyana Ali. The team routines were choreographed by the show’s professional dancers, and the scoring process has been modified for the event.
