The Fashion Scholarship Fund has appointed five women to its board of governors: Paula Fallowfield of LVMH Americas, Nina Flood of Timberland, Joy Herfel-Cronin of Ralph Lauren, Toretha McGuire of Fanatics and Rachna Shah of KCD.

The nonprofit awards scholarships to students pursuing careers in design, merchandising, marketing and business. In their board roles, the new members will offer career guidance, mentorship and internship opportunities to students, while supporting scholars and alumni across the organization’s community.

The fund was established in 1937. It provides more than $1.9 million in scholarships annually to 160 students selected from a network of 75 colleges and universities, and has supported more than 3,100 alumni.
