With seven couples remaining on Dancing with the Stars season 35, this week’s Disney Night brought a new advantage into play: Julianne Hough announced that the couple with the night’s highest scores would be safe from next week’s dance-off.

Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson earned a perfect 40 for their jazz routine to “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins. Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy also scored 40 for their quickstep to “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and The Beast, leaving the two couples tied at the top.

The tie was settled using scores accumulated over the season. Shum and Johnson had 236 points, one more than Dewan and Chmerkovskiy’s 235, giving Shum and Johnson immunity from the upcoming dance-off.

After individual dances and group scores were combined, Shum and Johnson and Dewan and Chmerkovskiy each finished with 80 out of 80. Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach scored 77, followed by Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold with 72, Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov with 70, and Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik with 69. Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas received 68.

Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa tied with Ali and Ravnik for sixth place but were eliminated. The show’s next episode is Grammy Night, scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, at 8 p.m. ET on Disney+ and ABC.
