Hulu’s upcoming reality competition The Mob will bring celebrities and reality personalities together in a mafia-themed contest hosted by Parker Posey. The series is made by the producers of The Traitors, according to the original report.
The show’s format places its contestants in a lavish Italian villa, where they compete in challenges inspired by mob movies. Participants are vying for cash prizes of up to $250,000 while trying to avoid being “whacked” from the competition.
The cast includes Bruno Tonioli, Harry Jowsey and Chelsea Lazkani. The report says the show was confirmed at Hulu’s Get Real House event on April 22, after online rumors about filming in Tuscany began circulating earlier that month.
