Jennifer Hudson made a striking appearance at the 53rd Daytime Emmy Awards in a floor-length metallic gown from Christian Siriano’s Spring 2027 Ready to Wear Collection. The actress and host had been nominated for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host for her work on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”

The strapless dress featured a plunging scoop neckline, pronounced vertical boning and a fitted contoured skirt. Its gold floral pattern combined metallic shades with silver details, creating a reflective, foil-like effect under the red-carpet lights.

Hudson completed the look with oversized gold hoop earrings spelling out “EGOT,” a simple butterfly pendant and minimalist makeup, including nude-toned lipstick and light mascara.

The appearance continued Hudson’s affinity for highly reflective red-carpet fashion. At this year’s Grammys, she wore a leather one-shoulder dress with a large bow-like detail and paired it with metallic pewter pumps from Le Silla.

Hudson did not win the Daytime Emmy in her category; the award went to Sherri Shepherd for “Sherri.” Hudson previously won a daytime Emmy in 2021 for Outstanding Interactive Media for a Daytime Program as an executive producer on the virtual reality animated film “Baba Yaga.”
