Jordyn Woods is keeping her orange “Lucky Bag” in the mix for the 2026-27 NBA season, but says she does not consider herself superstitious until the playoffs. The handbag from her fashion label, Woods by Jordyn, became associated with the New York Knicks after the team won games when she brought it along during last season’s playoff run.

Woods discussed the bag and her plans for the season in an interview with WWD, ahead of a Walgreens “Don’t Get Benched by the Flu” campaign event in New York City. She joined the campaign to promote flu shots, describing vaccination as a “no-brainer” given her busy schedule and the number of people she encounters. The public pop-up in Herald Square included basketball-themed activities, photo opportunities and a way to book a flu shot appointment.

To support her health, Woods said she tries to take vitamins, get enough sleep and stay hydrated. When traveling, she also makes time for small skincare routines, such as face masks and eye patches. She encouraged people to research their options and decide what is right for their bodies.

Woods also spoke about the possibility of expanding into beauty and wellness. She said starting a beauty brand would be a dream and that she may pursue it when the timing is right, while acknowledging that she has not decided what products it might include. For now, she is chief creative officer of Gloss Lab, a developing lifestyle brand that focuses on balms and creams.

Her current focus remains Woods by Jordyn and recent projects, including a New York pop-up and a clothing collaboration with “Love Island” star Aniya Harvey. Woods teased that there will be news in the spring, and confirmed that she plans to keep making the Lucky Bags, which customers continue to request.
