Kim Kardashian wore a vintage Dolce & Gabbana minidress from the label’s fall 1997 collection while promoting season two of All’s Fair. The burgundy open-knit design, decorated with rose motifs on the skirt, was look 15 from the collection.
Kardashian kept some elements of the original styling, wearing the sheer dress over a black balconette bra and a white skirt. She chose a tighter underskirt instead of the scalloped slip shown with the original look, and replaced embroidered black stockings and glittery heels with PVC Gianvito Rossi mules.
The dress adds to Kardashian’s recent vintage fashion choices. The source reports that she and stylist Law Roach have explored designer archives, and that Olivier Rousteing lent her two Paco Rabanne chainmail minidresses from the fall 1995 haute couture collection for her birthday dinner. For this Dolce & Gabbana look, Kardashian retained part of the 1997 styling while putting her own spin on the rest.
