Louis Vuitton Menswear CATWALK, a new hardcover from Louis Vuitton and Thames & Hudson, brings together nearly three decades of the House’s menswear collections. The 632-page book is due to arrive on November 5 and launches Thames & Hudson’s menswear-focused CATWALK series.

The volume features more than 1,200 runway photographs across over 50 collections, including looks, accessories, close-up details and set designs. Its timeline begins with Louis Vuitton’s first standalone men’s show, held in January 2001, and runs through the current era under Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams. The book will be available in English and French editions.

Fashion critic Anders Christian Madsen wrote the introduction, biographies of the designers and commentary accompanying each collection. The book follows the work of Marc Jacobs, Paul Helbers, Kim Jones, Virgil Abloh and Pharrell Williams, charting the successive creative leadership of Louis Vuitton menswear.

Williams shares his approach in the book, describing the House’s codes as “chic, wearable and well-made” and saying, “I don’t design to fashion, I design a standard.”

Louis Vuitton Menswear CATWALK will be available from Louis Vuitton stores and booksellers worldwide from November 5.
