Louis Vuitton’s 2026 holiday campaign puts train journeys at the center of its seasonal storytelling, portraying the excitement of departures and reunions in a snowy station. Photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch shot the campaign, while a film directed by Rubberband features Joe Jackson’s 1980s hit “Stepping Out.” The campaign is set to launch on the brand’s website and social platforms on Thursday.

The film follows chance encounters and playful moments as travelers wait for departure, drawing on Louis Vuitton’s “Art of Travel” theme. Its railway focus also echoes Nicolas Ghesquière’s fall 2025 womenswear collection, which took inspiration from films involving trains, including “Brief Encounter,” “2046,” “Snowpiercer” and “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”

The train motif carries into Louis Vuitton’s holiday windows, which present five miniature landscapes: Alpine Horizon, the Big Apple, Blossom Garden, Moonlight Valley and Golden Dunes. Small trains move between the scenes, while train garlands will wind around Christmas trees in most of the brand’s stores.

On Saturday, Louis Vuitton will open an immersive pop-up at its store in Tokyo’s Shibuya district. The space will include miniature worlds and a room displaying products in a setting inspired by a wooden trunk.

The campaign features leather goods, luggage, accessories, sneakers and jewelry. Louis Vuitton is also introducing a holiday beauty capsule under its La Beauté line, inspired by its Monogram Rouge lipstick shade. The range includes five products in burgundy lacquered cases with hand-painted Monogram flowers, including a new matte version of the lip color, alongside canvas accessories in a similar red hue.
