Maika Monroe wore a black sheer lace dress by Colleen Allen to the New York premiere of “Victorian Psycho” at Village East Cinema on Monday. The look brought a Gothic mood to the event, with a plunging neckline, wider straps and a more opaque bodice set against a largely transparent skirt. Black undergarments were visible beneath the lace, and Monroe added chandelier earrings.

The dress comes from Allen’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection and made its debut at New York Fashion Week in February 2026. Its botanical lace and dark styling align with the collection’s Gothic romantic aesthetic.

In “Victorian Psycho,” Monroe plays Winifred Notty, an eccentric young governess who arrives at the Gothic Ensor House. When staff members begin to disappear, suspicion falls on the new arrival. The film is based on Virginia Feito’s novel and is scheduled to open in theaters on Nov. 13.
