Reebok is refreshing Allen Iverson’s best-known signature sneaker with the Question Mid Recoded, a performance-focused update that retains the classic appearance of the original Question Mid. The release marks the model’s 30th anniversary and is designed to introduce its distinctive look to a new generation of basketball players.

The Question Mid Recoded is the first model in Reebok’s Recoded range. Its technical changes include a revised traction pattern on the icy rubber outsole, a foam pod in the midsole for lightweight cushioning and a stability plate intended to improve control. Reebok has also adjusted the upper to provide a more forgiving fit while keeping the sneaker’s familiar silhouette.

The shoe will be offered in two colorways: the original Red Toe version and a new 30th Anniversary Green edition.

Iverson said the updated sneaker maintains the spirit of the original Question Mid, describing it as a shoe built around individuality and self-expression. Anthony Hale, a Reebok basketball footwear designer, said the brand focused on preserving the design elements that made the model iconic while adding current performance technology.

The Reebok Question Mid Recoded will launch in the United States on Nov. 10 for $170 through reebok.com and exclusively at Foot Locker. A global release is scheduled for Nov. 16. On Nov. 10, Reebok and Foot Locker will also hold a pop-up event at Philadelphia’s Bok Building, located at 1901 S 9th Street, celebrating Iverson’s contributions to basketball and style.
