November’s manicure trends are leaning into cozy-season colors, textured finishes and autumn-inspired designs. The selection includes animal prints, deep earthy shades, detailed foliage and updated versions of classic French tips.
Bambi print is one of the standout ideas, using browns, chestnut shades and beige nudes. The design can be kept subtle with a few spots over a neutral base or made more dramatic with a full set inspired by animal fur. Nail artist Sigourney Nuñez says animal print has been especially prominent and expects this palette to remain popular through the month.
For a simpler look, earthy tones offer a seasonal palette without moving fully into holiday colors. Nuñez recommends rich espresso shades and deep greens with an emerald influence. Chestnut brown and autumnal green are two ways to capture that mood.
Autumnal leaf designs bring the colors of seasonal foliage to the nails. A milky base can be paired with leaf shapes painted in a mix of warm, fall-inspired hues, creating a detailed manicure suited to November.
The French manicure also gets a seasonal update. Donna Charloff of MiniLuxe recommends pairing a warm, creamy nude base with deep or colorful tips in shades such as chocolate brown, burgundy or burnt orange. A striped French design can also take inspiration from a favorite cozy sweater.
Velvet shine is another key direction, created with cat-eye magnetic gel. According to nail artist John Avery, the finish can resemble velvet, satin or a gemstone depending on the lighting. The look works with one shade on each nail or as a monochrome set with added dimension.
Argyle and plaid designs bring a darker academic feel to the season. Nuñez suggests combining charcoal, deep purple and jewel tones for a moody November palette.
Finally, cocoa chrome elevates a classic chocolate-brown manicure with a reflective chrome layer. The result keeps the warmth of a hot cocoa-inspired shade while adding a polished, reflective finish.
