The lawyers of “All’s Fair” offer more than dramatic courtroom clashes and striking fashion: the characters also reflect the traits associated with the zodiac signs. As the legal drama returns for its second season on Hulu on November 4, here’s how its legal players map onto astrology’s 12 signs.

Emerald Greene, played by Niecy Nash-Betts, is the show’s Cancer: empathetic and able to connect with people from very different backgrounds. Liberty Ronson (Naomi Watts) is cast as a Virgo, whose sharp eye for detail and strategic thinking help her spot legal loopholes. Dina Standish (Glenn Close) represents Libra, with a commitment to fairness and a diplomatic approach to colleagues and clients.

Allura Grant (Kim Kardashian) and Carrington “Carr” Lane (Sarah Paulson) embody Scorpio’s focus on power and ambition. Their characters often find themselves on opposing sides of a power struggle, while their glamorous wardrobes serve as a form of armor. Milan (Teyana Taylor), meanwhile, is the Sagittarius wild card, willing to pursue unconventional ideas.

The other signs are represented through broader character types: Aries is the fighter, Taurus the powerhouse, Gemini the communicator, Leo the closer, Capricorn the shark, Aquarius the innovator and Pisces the mentor. Their defining traits range from assertiveness and ambition to creativity, independence and a willingness to share advice.

Season 2 of “All’s Fair” premieres November 4 on Hulu.
