Nearly 180 photographs by Yorgos Lanthimos will be shown at Foam Museum in Amsterdam from February 12 to June 6, 2027. Titled Yorgos Lanthimos: Photographs, the exhibition is organized with London-based arts publisher MACK and brings together work made over the past six years.
The show will feature four bodies of work. Three include behind-the-scenes photographs from Bugonia (2025), Kinds of Kindness (2024) and Poor Things (2023), while the fourth is an ongoing personal series depicting Greece in black and white.
Michael Mack will return as guest curator for the Amsterdam presentation. The exhibition follows earlier shows at Onassis Stegi in Athens and Webber Gallery in Los Angeles. Lanthimos has also collaborated with MACK on the books shall sing these songs beautifully and VISCIN; another book, no word for blue, is scheduled for September 2027.
