Caitlin Clark has signed on as the first brand partner for Dick’s Sporting Goods and Foot Locker. The partnership was announced at an event in New York City on Wednesday morning.

The retailers will work with Clark on national and global campaigns, promotions for her signature footwear and apparel, in-store and digital experiences, fan events, appearances and community programs. The collaboration will also support her product lines.

Clark said Dick’s was a regular stop for her before sports seasons when she was growing up, calling the new partnership a “full-circle moment.” She added that both companies have strong ties to sport, basketball and sneaker culture, and connect with fans in the United States and internationally.

Dick’s executive chairman Ed Stack said the partnership would build on interest in basketball and create ways to bring more people closer to the game. The company’s chief marketing, e-commerce and athlete experience officer, Emily Silver, pointed to Clark’s influence on young athletes and the role of sport in building confidence and opportunity.

Foot Locker chief marketing officer Brett O’Brien said Clark’s impact extends beyond the court and described the deal as a way to connect fans with basketball and its culture.

Clark plays for the Indiana Fever and rose to prominence during her college career at the University of Iowa. She signed a Nike name, image and likeness deal in 2022 and later agreed to an eight-year, $28 million contract with the company. Her Nike Caitlin 1 signature shoe debuted on Oct. 1 alongside a small apparel collection featuring her interlocking CC logo.
