Behind-the-scenes photos posted by prosthetics supplier The Makeup Armoury may have revealed details about The Batman: Part II after the company shared images of makeup artist Mike Marino working on Heidi Klum’s Halloween costume. The sequel, starring Robert Pattinson, is in production and is expected to be released on February 18, 2028.

The images show several molds in the background that appear to point to Brian Tyree Henry playing Harvey Dent, better known as Two-Face, and Sebastian Stan portraying Victor Zsasz. Another mold, labeled “Owl 3,” may hint that the Court of Owls will feature in the film. None of these apparent clues has been officially confirmed.

Henry’s mold appears to depict a disfigured face resembling Two-Face. The possibility that Henry would play Dent had previously been discussed, along with the alternative of him portraying Gotham police officer Harvey Bullock. Director Matt Reeves has cited The Long Halloween by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale as an influence on his Batman, a comic that features Dent and Zsasz.

Stan’s possible casting as Zsasz also remains uncertain. He was previously rumored to be playing Harvey Dent and reportedly said in an interview over the summer that he had the role, before the French publication Le Journal du Dimanche later retracted its statement. Zsasz is a serial killer in the comics who marks his body for each victim. In The Long Halloween, he is hired to assassinate Dent.

The “Owl 3” label has drawn attention because the Court of Owls is a secret society of Gotham’s wealthy and influential residents, introduced in a 2012 comic series by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo. The apparent reference also raises questions about Scarlett Johansson’s character: she had been rumored to play Gilda Dent, Harvey’s wife. The production has not confirmed the identities suggested by the images.
