Van Cleef & Arpels has brought its Perlée collection to Las Vegas with its first dedicated pop-up for the line in the Americas. The 70-square-meter installation occupies Bar Centro at The Shops at Crystals and is scheduled to run through Nov. 22.

Designed by French artist Arthur Hoffner, a longtime collaborator with the maison, the space features geometric totems, moving spheres and animated displays inspired by Perlée’s rounded forms. Visitors can explore current designs alongside pieces from the house’s archives in intimate salons and a library. Master jewelers are also set to demonstrate traditional techniques on select days.

The presentation traces the history of the collection’s signature golden bead. Perlée was formally introduced in 2008, but the motif appeared in Van Cleef & Arpels creations nearly a century ago. It became more prominent in the late 1940s with the Couscous collection and later appeared in animal clips, the Twist creations of the 1960s and the Alhambra collection, launched in 1968.

The collection’s designs combine that heritage with a flexible approach to wearing fine jewelry. Its pieces can be layered and stacked, pairing golden hues and polished surfaces with hard stones and diamonds, according to the house.

Helen King, president and chief executive officer of Van Cleef & Arpels Americas, said the Las Vegas setting offers an opportunity to introduce the collection to an international audience. She described the pop-up as a way for visitors to experience both the finished jewelry and the craftsmanship behind it.
