Blake Lively made a rare appearance on New York’s party circuit at the holiday collection launch of jeweler Brent Neale, held at Majorelle on the Upper East Side. She wore a midnight-blue sequin minidress from Chanel’s fall 1994 collection, bringing a bold, vintage look to the event.
The strapless dress featured a scalloped neckline and black satin bows along its fitted bodice. Lively paired it with a black leather Chanel bucket bag, black Christian Louboutin Bis Un Bout pumps with transparent panels and ankle straps, and statement earrings and rings by Brent Neale. Her hair was styled in glossy waves with a side part.
The outing marked a return to the spotlight after Lively had kept a relatively low public profile in recent months. She was last widely photographed at the FIFA World Cup final in July, wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt, jeans and a white tank top.
Lively is known for colorful outfits, sparkling fabrics and playful accessories. Her past looks have included a Judith Leiber pepperoni-pizza bag, a martini-shaped clutch, and a turquoise 1960s sequin dress. Her latest appearance returned to that dressier style as the holiday party season begins.
