Zalando’s revenue rose 5.1% to €3.17 billion in the third quarter of 2026, as its business-to-business division expanded and customer activity increased. Gross merchandise volume (GMV) climbed 7.5% to €4.54 billion in the three months ended September 30, the German company said Tuesday.

B2B revenue grew nearly 28% to €354.4 million. Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) in the division more than doubled to €42.2 million, lifting its adjusted EBIT margin to 11.9%, from 7.1% a year earlier. Zalando said its Scayle software unit added enterprise customers in the U.S. and U.K., while Zeos Fulfilment won clients including Champion, LC Waikiki and Lascana.

Across the company, adjusted EBIT increased 10.6% to €106.5 million, and the adjusted EBIT margin widened to 3.4% from 3.2%. Zalando attributed the improvement to lower fulfillment costs, synergies from integrating About You and B2B growth. It said integration synergies reached the mid-teens of millions of euros in the quarter.

Zalando’s partner business and retail media both grew at double-digit rates. Partner products made up 33.6% of business-to-consumer GMV, an increase of 2.9 percentage points year over year, while retail media revenue rose nearly 18%.

Active customers reached a record 63.2 million, up 2.9%. Average spending per customer also increased 2.9%, to €308. GMV grew across all three of Zalando’s apps, with the core app leading, alongside expansion in the partner business and momentum in the Lounge app.

The company said more than 22 million unique users had visited its Zalando Assistant this year. It also announced Zalando Extended, an AI agent that will let users find products from other online shops through the Zalando app. German home and lifestyle retailer Westwing is the pilot partner. Zalando said the service could give partner shops access to its customers without complex technical integration or changes to their logistics, with bulky home goods among the initial categories.

Zalando confirmed its full-year 2026 outlook. It expects reported GMV and revenue growth in the lower half of its 12% to 17% range and adjusted EBIT of €680 million to €720 million.
